*** GAME 2: World Series Giants/Angels ***

Looks like the Angels have something to prove. Bottom of 1st, 2-0 Angels, 2 on, no outs.

Glad there's at least one other Angels fan here I'm sick of hearing the anti-Angels sentiments.

Viva la Rally Monkey
Viva los ThunderStix

GO ANGELS!

P.S. 4-0 Angels, 2 on , 1 out. I think that's 7 hits?

Holy carp! As a Giants fan, this game is mighty depressing.

I don't claim to be an Angels _fan_, but I do root for them in general.

And I hate both these pitchers. Stellar one game, el stinko the next.

Don't worry. The Angels don't like to hold leads - they like to come back from behind. Although this inning is shaping up more like a 7th or 8th inning when they had 10 hits...

Nah, Appier's on the mound, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get shelled too...

He does have a tendency to have that happen to him. Hopefully he's still a bit warm for the 2nd inning. They better pitch to Bonds...

Hurry up and get to Game #4 - I cannot take the suspense any longer ... I HAVE TO KNOW!!!

WHAT'S THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT???

das

P.S. Wild sarcasm aside, the Anthem got quite a pop tonight. Good to hear someone sing it properly for a change.

I'll hate baseball fans forever if Ichiro or something within the last 5 years is the Most Memorable moment...

Last I heard, Cal's streak was leading the voting...

But Ichiro shouldn't have been on the ballot in the first place.

Really? Thought it'd be one of the "older" memories...though I guess if voting is only limited to online users, that'd be a younger population.

Whatever they choose, it's likely going to be really stupid. Maybe an awkward and unprepared Ray Liotta can stumble through a script before the game, listing all the great "moments" like Ichiro! What a moment. I'll tell my grandkids about how I was there ... during that moment ... when Ichiro. I'll never forget it. I woke up, thinking it would be an ordinary day, and then boom ... out of nowhere ... it happened: Ichiro! Clear as day. I'm just glad the cameras were there to capture it or history would have been lost forever.

I'm not even sure which "moment" they're talking about, with regards to Ichiro.

They passed out ballots at all the Padres games (after the all-star game). Consider that the vast majority of people at baseball games couldn't even tell you what the shot heard round the world was, I fully expected the newer moments to dominate. I am surprised some of older moments actually did pretty well.
