What a big day - a lot of great matchups. I think I'll have to park myself at the sports bar the whole afternoon.

Yup...

Florida State (12) vs. Miami (1) to start the day.

Oklahoma (3) vs. Texas (2) picks up there and will be PNP'd with Tennessee (9) vs. Georgia (6) so we can see if Georgia deserves that top 10 ranking.

Top that off with the hope that Louisiana State (15) vs. Florida (16) ends with the Gators falling out of the top 20.

with toefield out for the season.. i think the chance of florida falling out of the top 20 this week, is pretty low

and casey clausen may be out for tennessee.. so uga might have gotten some help in this one (well, besides for tenn coming off that 6 overtime game as well)

Nebraska might be going down tomorrow if Missouri's QB Brad Smith can do to them what he did against OU last weekend (around 400 all-purpose yards), and last time I checked OU was better than Nebraska. I really think Missouri might have a Heisman candidate on their hands in a year or two, if he sticks around that long.

Ou and Texas has to be a bigger game than even FSU @ Miami, I am not even going to guess at that outcome, so who's going to win? can Chris Simms lead his Longhorns to victory?

Down with the 'Huskers!

Hey, I said *hope*!

What's up with Clausen? I heard them saying something about him on ESPN last night but missed the majority of it.

Receivers James Banks and Kelley Washington -- both quarterbacks in high school -- have also thrown some in practice.
So, if this Leak guy goes down they're going to want Washington to throw the ball *and* catch it!

washington is by far the best quarterback that the volunteers have (and that includes clausen).. but he is also the best receiver they have (and he may be the best player in ncaa football right now).. kindof makes an ugly situation

I'm taking ISU as one of my 3 plays tomorrow. I think they'll exercise their Big-12 Lone Star State demons tomorrow in a big way.

So I guess you were just posturing when you said that Oklahoma wasn't overrated and had a defense that flew to the ball like none you had ever seen before. By the way, Simms is 0-10 lifetime against top 10 teams.
