Busy day in Bay Area sports

Never seen anything like it...

1pm Niners vs Rams @ Candlestick
1pm A's vs Twins Game 5 ALDS
430pm Giants vs Braves Game 4 NLDS

Whew... and I've got tickets to both baseball games... busy day for me

Holy crap, you're going to be tired as a mofo tomorrow.

Go A's!

Go Giants!

Go Rams!

I'll be at the A's game and I'm sure we'll have a radio with us to keep up with other Bay Area sporting events as well.

Plus you can also watch the Raiders at Buffalo at 10 am on TV. The only way we can see the Raiders on TV is when they're out of town.

My plan for the day is watch an hour of the Niner game then go to Pac Bell and watch batting practice.

It's going to be a sad day in the Bay Area when the Giants and A's officially make thier tee times today.

It's pretty rare but the Cubs/Sox and Bears play in the city sometimes ...

and sometimes it's Cubs/Sox/Bulls ... or Cubs/Sox/Blackhawks

My doubleheader today...

After cooking up some chicken, heading to Albertsons to pick up some sunflower seeds, and filling up a bottle of water, I headed off to the A's game at the Coliseum. First pitch was just after 1:05pm...

Unfortunately, I didn't take too many pictures at the A's game, and of the few I did take, some of them were blurry... here's the view from the left field bleachers where my seats were, one section over from the drummers.

I watched the last half inning from the concourse, ran out of the stadium as soon as Durham popped out to eliminate the A's, and jumped on a BART train bound for San Francisco. Made it to my seats at Pac Bell as the Giants were taking the field, a few minutes before first pitch...

Views of the game from my season ticket bleacher seats in section 140, pics of fans doing the mock tomahawk chop during the game when the Giants got an early commanding lead, and pics of the scoreboard and postgame...

All said and done, a LONG day for me, it was like 7 straight hours of baseball... tired, but happy that the Giants won in the end.

Wow, I'm surprised you were able to make it to Pac Bell on time. Too bad the A's lost.

There were actually a couple other guys who were doing the same thing as me, and I saw them on BART... we made it on time because first pitch was really 4:55pm or so, and NOT 4:30 like they announced (I guess 4:30 was the start of the TV program for the game or something).

Anyway, it was easy to tell who had gone to the A's game because of the plastic noisemakers.
