Im really torn on this bama/uga game

i dislike uga, but i hate bama
but.. it doesnt matter what bama does, they are on probation, and cant go anywhere.. and I think uga is overrated (at #8) and this could be the first chance to have that proven

Im watching Florida vs Ole Miss (Grossman vs Manning)

but peeking in on the West Virginia vs Maryland game every once in awhile, to see what type of runner Cobourne really is.
so far, I havent been very impressed..
Maryland is leading 28-0 after the first qtr.. and I believe Cobourne has 18 yards rushing so far?

a couple interceptions.. and ole miss has come back to take a 17-14 lead on florida

ole miss had the ball first and goal on the florida 2 earlier.. ran 4 times up the middle and couldnt score.. but florida took over at the ole miss 2 inch line and got a safety called..

and thats the final score

the crowd rushed the field with 1 second left to play.. so they had to get everyone off the field so they could end the game!

there goes the goal posts!

grossman looked horrible.. terrible decisions, horrible passes, and a handful of interceptions that lead directly to the loss..

God I hope Grossman goes pro early. This loss falls on his shoulders. 4 INTs= 14 points for ole miss. I don't think they had a scoring drive over 30 yards.

oh yeah ron zook is an idiot. instead of trying a 47 yard FG for the tie w/ 6 minutes left, he goes for it on 4th and 12 and we get sacked for a 10 yard loss. all supporters for his resignation can go to www.fireronzook.com

God I am pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone believe that the Longhorns might just have been looking past this week to next week in Dallas?

Man did that game blow. I'm a die hard WVU fan and did my undergrad there, and I'm going to UMD for Grad school. This was the one game I was hoping WVU would win this year, especially after UMD's ref aided win last year.

It's also a big blow to our bowl hopes. The past several years the outcome of the UMD game has been a predictor of whether or not we go to a bowl.

yep.. gotta agree with you..
oklahoma has looked terrible.. decent defense.. no offense.. but they had a gift from bama that allowed them to hold on

texas finally plays a team with a pulse (not much of one, but at least they were alive), and barely escapes on a questionable call

to clarify....

they have looked better than average for a normal team
they have looked terrible, compared to what you expect from them

I agree that the past several years if WV beat MD than they went onto a successful year. I disagree MD's win last year was ref aided. But i'm not going to get into a debate over a game that happened a year ago.

Neither OU or TU has really played anyone.

OU has a history under Stoops of playing up to the level of its competition. The only thing that has really looked bad for OU is their special teams.

TU, today, obviously was looking past OSU to OU. My concern with TU is their defense. It's untested. If they have substantially improved their defense, I think they will beat OU.

Of course, I thought the Longhorns would beat the Sooners two years ago.
