Heh.. smallball made an update to the team pages.. They have on the game listings either Big for big league games, or your pro league level for your pro league games.

Looks like they're getting ready for user leagues. Will this league use that? I guess it depends on how it all works.....

Cheers

My team has been hitting pretty well lately for some reason. My pitcher isn't my best one so I give up a lot of runs, too. Nice to get a win over a great team. Good game. I'll probably re-match you tonite.

Cheers

Holy carp!

I've won 4 games in a row. I went 3-0 yesterday and am 1-0 so far today. It looks like my power training is finally working a bit. Heck, I'm even hovering around 8* now.

ok.. i know someone commented on it already
but I dont like that new 'league' column on our recent games list

is there really a need for that?

i guess if they are going to go back to including pro league games in our recent games list, then maybe there is a need.. otherwise, its pretty worthless

Are you forgetting that you will soon be able to manage leagues through the software? I'm assuming that's why it shows what league it is. Since there will soon be more leagues than just Pro and Big.

I haven't seen much discussion on lefty and rookie tickets lately. How are they going?

My 2 rookies needed only 4 full pie in running to reach the regulars. Now I've given them 2 full pie in contact and they're around 40% in that cage. I may not train them in power at all though b/c then I could have some fast singles hitters to put in for games at that frickin Fox Stadium.

And I used a lefty ticket... The SmallBall commish said the hitters lost some skill, and people here were saying how they dropped to last in all hitting categories. Has anyone figured out just how much skill they lose? I'll tell you. They lose all of it!! I know this because I hadn't trained my rookies in anything except running, and my new lefty was ranked below them in every hitting category (which means they were all tied). So I recommend that people use the lefty tickets with great caution.

It's bad enough I lose my game today to the Robert DeNiros 8-0, now I get challenged by the Roberta DeNiros!

I got a idea every season make the winner of the Champions Cup use the rebirth ticket!

Demote them to the 3rd division as well!

I saw that post, but couldn't find any reference on the SB forums (didn't look THAT closely though).

Are they deactivating all existing TP tickets (meaning, when you try to use them, they won't work), or just not giving out any more?

And after about 20 seasons, then you might actually have a chance at winning the Cup.

I don't know. I just read twikky's post from the last thread. Hopefully, they'll still keep the TP Tickets they gave out active.

i saw it mentioned in the forum
then again at http://www.geocities.com/gamer_jt
more specifically: http://www.geocities.com/gamer_jt/breaking.html

of course.. its just a user site.. and one on geocities so take it with a grain of salt
but the commish does hang out in the chats.. and seems to talk to alot of these site and league owners a good bit... and he seems to leak alot of information that isnt public.. so I wouldnt doubt that this could be true.. i dont think there is any official word yet.

Im sure darkelf would be willing to sell you one of his TP tickets

of course, they are already used.. so that might reduce the value a little
