Kurt Warner out basically for the year

According to ESPN, Kurt Warner is out for 8-10 weeks.

Maybe this will help Martz keep his job by blaming it on injury? I hope not... I hate that guy.

Boy, don't they wish they had Trent Green now. But, I'm sure Jamie Martin will fill in nicely and throw for 3500 yards with 20 TDs.

At least Martin can throw a spiral.

Tough break for the sports analysts. Who will they cream all over now after showering the Rams last season?

I don't know. The Rams lost the sure bet against the Cowboys.

With Warner out, they won't be showing Warner's wife anymore.

I'll go farther....I boldly predict that the Rams will see victory in everyone of their remaining games.......

.......Unfortunatly for the Rams, they will see the opposing team getting the victory!

Yeah, I can see them going 5-7 the rest of the season. Jamie Martin looked pretty good on Sunday. Kinda reminded me of how Kurt Warner got to be the starting QB when Trent Green got injured ...

This whole year hasn't made sense for the Rams.

Warner, Faulk, Holt, Bruce - how do you stop all those guys?

Well, it seems that Warner has been playing hurt with a thumb injury or something, and he hasn't been able to throw the ball the way he used to - and how he REALLY won't be able to.

Maybe Jamie Martin will be an improvement. Seriously.

I'll go this far, the Rams will finish 8-8 (no worse than 7-9)...

...as long as they don't have any more injuries to major players.

That won't get them into the playoffs, though. They never should have let Az Hakim go.... That threat in the slot took away the possibility of double coverage on Holt and Bruce, leaving SOMEONE wide open at all times.

They need to hire Jim Mora now.

Just so we can hear "Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?" again.

Hiring Jim Mora and digging up Jeff George to take over for Kurt would be perfect.

Agreed...the loss of Hakim means that Warner has a much more difficult set of targets to throw at.

Which begs the question, why in the world isn't Marshall Faulk getting more touches?
