I was sad to hear that our old "Greatest Hits" archives had been killed off in the transfer.
There were a lot of great threads in there, and had I known I would have backed them up for the sake of posterity!
More great threads are developing. Any chance the Archives will be alive in time to save them from bit rot?

<A HREF="http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/">vBulletin</a> doesn't <A HREF="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7560">currently</a> support archives although it does allow for archives to be imported from other software.
I found <A HREf="http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/import.html#4">this</a> which suggests that a kludge would be for a read-only Archive Forum to be created and for Admins/Mods to move over threads as when selected.
It may be that this has not been implemented because of the additional workload involved i.e. Geoff might see it as the icing on the cake; nice but not necessary if resources do not permit.
Perhaps those interested should start a list (either below this post or in this forum) of the URLs of those threads they think are worth saving just in case Geoff does decide to go ahead....
