I miss the GOOD days of Zelda with the top down adventure style gaming. The N64 games were OK, but to me, they weren't really Zelda games, but another 3D "platform" game that happened to have the main character of Link. I had reservations about those two games (and was correct), just like I don't think I will be able to accept the new Metroid (on gamecube) as a dang first person shooter (AH!).
Woo hoo! Can't wait for May!

I am too. I'll be picking them up once I get a GBA. One question though. Are the two games completely different? Or are the differences comparable to Pokemon Blue/Red and Gold/Silver? Do I need both games to get the full experience or are they completely independent?
I haven't read about them, but I wondered these things when I saw that the guide for both games comes in one book like the Pokemon games did.

Quote from The Gaming Age:
"While we wait for Nintendo release more on the Gamecube incarnation of Zelda that was teased months ago, Nintendo is supplying us with two new Zelda titles on the Game Boy Color, The Legend of Zelda: The Mystical Seed: Chapter of Earth and Chapter of Time and Space. Both titles are an adventure all their own, but one of the most vaunted features of the games are their interactivity between each other, meaning that gamers will want to complete both titles in order to extract everything from the games."

they are two totally different games that interact with each other by way of a passcode. when you beat one game it will give you a passcode to input in the other game to give you a different twist on the game you put it into. for instance characters from the first game you beat will make an appearance on the other game etc.
ive seen and read about these two games and they look interesting, and i say that very carefully. for one thing these are the first zelda games that are not headed by shigeru miyamoto (sp) even though majora's mask was not directed by him he still had a hand in it. these two are not even programed by nintendo, capcom is in charge of these. still i dont think nintendo would allow the name zelda to be put on these games if they were not good. i am looking forward to them. for more info check out http://www.zelda.com
