Did anyone's Amazon MCI gift certificate REMAINDER expire 3/31?

haha... same here actually, I really didn't want to spend it on anything, but was afraid that i would lose all $150 of it. I ended up buying a Dreamcast, an extra controller, and a memory card.
even if someone has a remaining balance that didn't expire, it could be a random thing... they could cancel some, and not others... not worth the risk!
i think i'll send someone a refer a friend gc (which is promotional anyway) and then let it go past the expiration date and see if my friend can still use it. interesting experiment

For what it's worth, I cancelled one item from my order (because the order hadn't shipped yet) just to test if it would expire, and indeed it did. So even if you've spent a partial amount of your promotional gift certificate and have turned it non-promotional, it will still expire on the same date. I tested it on something under $5, so it's no biggie.
