This is super-intersting. Phoebe has been having a bunch of hastily-announced Pop Up shows in small venues across the country over the past month. Then last night was the Coup de Grace - a sold-out MSG show where tickets were $1 each! . (My daughter was devastated that I cruelly flew her to Hawaii and she couldn't attend. )
They've all been phone-free shows where you have to lock your phone in a bag before the start. Smart watches and ear buds too. Reporters are banned from bringing in paper and pencils. No recordings of any kind. The understanding was that she could try out new material from her highly anticipated follow-up to 2020's 'Punisher'. It's built a lot of buzz for the new material that nobody has heard except the fans who were there.

She has just announced a World Tour and the same rules apply. Variety wrote a review for it and was so charmed by the old-school feeling of being in the moment and distraction free. The assumption was that the requirement was just for the unreleased material, but Phoebe wants to keep that policy for the entire tour.
