A question for those who have seen Robert Altman’s 1972 film “Images”.
I’ve owned it for some time but haven’t worked up the nerve to watch it. On occasion films that deal with severe mental illness spiraling out of control can trigger panic in me. I can watch just about any horror film. But, for instance, after being locked down for awhile during the pandemic I made the poor choice of going to see Satoshi Kon’s “Perfect Blue” as my reintroduction to the theatrical experience. The walls started closing in and I had to make an early exit. If you’ve seen both films how does Images compare? Is it a hard watch psychologically? Not as bad as PB? Worse? Is there another movie you would compare it to? I’m just debating whether or not I throw it on my tv, or onto eBay.
Gracias.
