Back in the day, I couldn't figure out what Guns N Roses "November Rain" was about.




The video suggested it was about a love that was "lost", that either never happened and/or it was "all a dream".

It turned out axl rose purportedly mentioned the song was about unrequited love. Back in the day, I didn't have any notion of unrequited love and wouldn't have made such an interpretation.

Until I saw the video, I thought Billy Squier's "Rock Me Tonite" was about a woman.

A video with Chris Martin in a mascot costume is not what I pictured when I hear this song.


Did not think about sex either with this Depeche Mode song about being sober
