"Lonnie struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he’s not done yet. His ex-wife Stacy (Molly Shannon) and his son Lance (Jimmy Tatro), golf’s new golden boy, know he’s through. But with one more major to win to complete golf’s Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he’s anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history."
Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver and David Hornsby also star in the 10-episode season. Feimster plays a caddie; Wilson a rival golfer; Parnell a PGA Tour official; Tarver the influencer fiancée of Tatro’s Lance; and Hornsby a wealthy man who’s now dating Stacy.

Ferrell hasn't been funny in almost a decade but I'd be willing to give this a shot thanks to that pretty stellar supporting cast.

Hitting people with golf balls? Boner jokes? Where do they come up with this comedy gold? I take back my earlier post. Unless this has really good reviews, I can't see wasting any time on it.

Maybe he had more ideas or projects he wanted to do but impossible to greenlight since Hollywood stopped making comedy films and only 2 or 3 come out per year.
