Does anybody remember the FOX show Vanished, where they killed of the lead character after 8 episodes, because audiences didn't like the actor Gale Harold?

I finished the first episode. Looks like this is being dropped weekly on MGM and as a binge season on Prime Video international later this month.
Anyway, I thought it was fine. The acting was fine and the scenic are great. And there was an interesting set up. Only thing unbelievable was making Kaley Cuoco an Archaeologist.

So I have MGM+ for a few months at 99 cents each month and resumed the last 3 episodes.
Yes it’s a one and done series. It started out promising, but it got so confusing and convoluted.
And the wrap up was so contrived. Kaley’s character was just an idiot and doing stuff that she had no business doing to solve this “mystery”
Thankfully it was only 4 episodes. The only positive thing I can say about this miniseries was that it looked nice. I saw the RT score is 39% and the audience score was 41% That sounds about right.
The only known critic who actually liked it was Richard Roeper. He gave it 3/5.
