Looks like the only ones under 50 as of now are Ed, Taylor, Beyonce P!nk and Bryan (barely). Most of the rest where above 50 at the started of period.

Coldplay's singer is 48 now.

And 50 when the period started? Do you really think anyone in Bon Jovi, Metallica, Guns N Roses or even Madonna are 75 and up today?

I’ve only seen 3 of those acts live, and Metallica and U2 were in the 90’s. Saw Billy Joel about 3 years ago.

I've seen 13 of those, several many times (Springsteen 4, Rolling Stones at least 6, Eagles 5, Elton 3 or 4, GnR 3, Sir Paul 5 or 6, Taylor twice on the Eras Tour, Billy Joel too many to count, at least 10).

The original title had 2021-2025.

I’ve got 9 of 25 but not the number one.

I have seen 9 on the list and 5 of the top 10. Metallica 5x Bruce 4x… U2 at MSG next to the stage. Stones were my first concert in ‘81.

I've seen 5 on this list, and only Metallica more than once.

The others are Bon Jovi, The Stones, Beyonce, and GnR

Only seen Metallica on the list. The only other artist I would be interested in is Springsteen. The list proves that people have shitty taste in music.

To each his own but when I stopped being a music snob it opened up a whole new world. Personally I'm glad that I grew out of that and sad it didn’t happen until my mid twenties.

Absolutely. That said I'm still shocked at how popular Coldplay and Ed Sheeran are as a concert attraction. I don't know anyone who would willingly admit to being a fan of either, nor do I know a single person who went to either sold-out show at Allegiant Stadium last year.

I like all kinds of different music. I would just rather have my teeth drilled than listen to Coldplay, Keney Chesney, Toby Keith, Pink, Post 1991 U2, Luke Bryan and Beyonce. I missed Iron Maiden on the list so them and Metallica are the only two I have paid money to see live.

Also 1200 Elton John shows? Wow that is a LOT of work for an old guy.

Well we all know two people that are known Coldplay fans. I'd admit to being a Sheeran fan and seeing him concert (got to support his wife ) but yeah the size of his fandom is shockingly huge yet strangely mute.

See I make distinction of not liking something and calling it crap. The first doesn't mean the second necessarily.

Haha... true! I do have one friend who loves Coldplay and even has a Pandora channel called Coldplay something or other.

To be honest, I liked Coldplay's first three albums (up to X&Y) when they came out but they lost me after that.

In a ranking of the Top Albums of the 21st Century, Pitchfork ranked (self titled) at 101 and Lemonade at 36. Rolling Stone, in their rankings of 21st Century albums put Renaissance.at 39, (self-titled) at 16 and Lemonade?

Saying you'd rather have your teeth drilled than listen to any of her music makes me wonder about your taste in music and willingnessto try anything out of your tiny comfort zone. It really doesn't make you look like an expert at all.

I think Coldplay is still on the record breaking tour and is that cheating if they are looking to break a record from a 2022 album Music of the Spheres and should have stopped when Moon Music came out and then started a new tour?

I've seen Metallica, the Stones, Maiden and GNR from the list. Out of the rest, I wouldn't mind seeing McCartney (tried getting tickets to his show a couple times but they instantly sold out and were then reselling for obscene prices I refused to pay), Elton John and Depeche Mode, that's about it.

Just Metallica, Stones, and Maiden for me.

As far as "taste" goes, a lot of acts on that list aren't my thing. And there are some that I like (U2, Elton John, Eagles, Billy Joel) that I just don't have any desire to go out of my way to see live. Big acts like these means traveling, getting hotels, fighting traffic and crowds. And then there's the ticket prices and Ticketmaster fees...

And I like Guns-n-Roses -- I was an early adopter and got "Appetite for Destruction" the week it was released -- but they never impressed me as a live band... come out three hours late and play a sloppy half set before the singer throws a tantrum and storms off the stage because he saw a shirt in the crowd that upset him.

(I think Axl has gotten better since the 80s/90s, but, eh.)

Axl might suck as a person and maybe as a performer, but Slash has never failed to impress me live.

Yeah, I saw Slash solo with Myles Kennedy on vocals about fifteen years ago in a smallish venue, and they were both great. Kennedy deftly handled the GnR songs they played.

GnR seems to be one of those bands who have good nights and bad nights, or at least get mixed reviews.

Axl's range has narrowed between age and hard partying. He had an insane 5 octaves which was more than guys like Freddie Mercury and Prince. He looks like he's in better shape than when they first started the reunion so they are back to never three hour sets.

Despite all of the bullshit I see on music boards about U2 not mattering anymore and being a shit band now, they sure put a lot of asses in seats.

From that list I have seen the following shitty artists:

U2
Springsteen
Elton John
Metallica
GnR
Depeche Mode
Iron Maiden
The Stones
Billy Joel

The only other three I would have interest in seeing are Roger Waters, The Eagles, and Macca. Maybe Bon Jovi if he can still sing remotely well. I don't like country or pop acts, but if others do, why should I care.
