Mayor of Kingstown (Paramount+) -- S: Jeremy Renner -- Season 4 -- Premieres 10/26/25

In season four, Mike's control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians' wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town. Meanwhile, with those he loves in more danger than ever before, Mike must contend with a headstrong new Warden to protect his own while grappling with demons from his past.

In addition to Renner and Falco, the series stars BAFTA Award(R) winner Lennie James, Tony Award(R) winner Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan- Headley and Nishi Munshi.

Been catching up with this. It was already a pretty fucking bleak show. But you know how Walter White kept digging himself deeper and deeper into shit on Breaking Bad? Mike and everyone else have a fucking excavator because they're a mile down and there's no way they can dig themselves out and the hole is about to collapse.

That's true and especially Ian is becoming kind of a serial killer.

Him and Robert are crazy. But Ian keeps his wits, Robert is just a lunatic.

Well, that was some SHIELD level type fucked up shit. Can't wait to see how this concludes next season.

I'm pretty sure this remains the bleakest show currently airing. Yeesh.

Episode 8 nearly made me physically ill. Love the writing on this show but wow, they're some twisted folks.

Need to go take a shower. Agree with above post.

I don't mind the show is ending with season 5. I think the downward spiral for the characters is near the bottom. It's currently one of my favorite shows.

Maybe I missed it, but was there any follow up with the "scene" with Ian and Robert in Robert's garage, 2-3 episodes ago?

Yes, but it was easy to miss. Ian met Mike in front of Robert's house, which had police tape around the garagae and the coroner was there, but Ian and Mike were talking about something else, so it wasn't really obvious.
