DMV (CBS) -- S: Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows -- Premieres 10/13/25
DMV is a workplace comedy set in the place everyone dreads going most - the Department of Motor Vehicles - where employees are making minimum wage dealing with customers who are annoyed before they even walk in the door.
Working at the East Hollywood DMV office are: Colette (Harriet Dyer), a driving examiner with a big heart and bad boundaries; Gregg (Tim Meadows), a misanthropic former English teacher; Vic (Tony Cavalero), a former bouncer who loves putting difficult drivers in their places; Barbara (Molly Kearney), a newly promoted manager who tries hard but often misses the mark; Noa (Alex Tarrant), a charming surfer who seems destined for much greater things; and Ceci (Gigi Zumbado), a scrappy photographer who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Fortunately, this quirky crew has each other to navigate the twists and turns of the DMV together.
DMV airs Mondays 8:30|7:30c on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

could be funny. the trailers weren't bad and let's face it, Tim Meadows can make anything fun.

I have seen the first three episodes and each is a little less funny than the previous.
It definitely has some funny moments but plenty fall flat also. The main lady if the best of the main characters.
Maybe, like The Office and Parks And Rec, it will hit it’s stride after a few episodes.
I’ll give it a few more to see.

i gave it 5 minutes and I was out. It was so uninteresting, and the characters were very dry for a comedy. i just knew i would dislike it even after just 5 minutes. so much better content out there i can focus on. i had high hopes from the trailers, but that first ep. (or at least the first 5 minutes or so) and then i was like nah.

We laughed enough to think it was really good and want to watch more.
Has a feel of the faux doc shows but without the looking at the camera and mugging.
Two "suits" are in the dmv to observe for a year to see if it should stay open or get folded into another location.
They essentially take the place of the camera and both of them were pretty funny.

I saw both eps bc there was nothing else on appealing at the time. It was horrible. I only kept going bc I like looking at Tim Meadows so much. Without him I’d never give this one another chance.
