She recently cancelled a bunch of dates for her concerts in Vegas due to her ex-husband being sick.

He died of cancer. He was 48 and the father of her two kids. They broke up a few years ago and went through a nasty divorce.

My sister had tickets to one of her concerts that got cancelled.

I'm a fan of hers since American Idol. I have most of her albums. I'd like to see her perform live at some point.

Back when her daytime show was first on during covid, I use to watch it for the music segments. (The celebrity guests were not as interesting).

Sad news for those kids. While her type of music is not what I listen to, she has a tremendous voice. And is extremely talented. Also seems like a genuinely nice person.

I like her daytime talk show and hope she does not end it or quit the show like she keeps threatening to do.

It was revealed that Clarkson’s ex died of a very aggressive form of skin cancer.

It’s been rumored for months, but Kelly Clarkson has decided to end her talk show. She officially announced it.

Sucks she had one of the few interesting talk shows on TV.

I wonder who will replace her?

I didn’t really watch her show except clips of interviews I wanted to see.

I would like to see her go back and focus more on music and maybe tour more.

Her last major album was in 2023 after a 6 year hiatus. I think she’s due for another in a year or so.

She did mention recently that she couldn't tour
because of the talk show schedule.

So that factored into her decision to end the show.

Daytime talk shows are dying. There's not a lot out there (I know some people who work in syndication and it's basically judge shows and game shows now). I'm sure it was expensive to shoot, coupled with a star who probably is tired of the grind after 7 years, it makes total sense for it to go.

Maybe they can convince Ellen to come out of retirement. Only seen her doing commercials for some kind of skincare line.

Her Vegas Residency shows sold really well. That would be a really smart option for her to come back to.

BTW : A big FU to Cher who disparaged Las Vegas at the Grammys, speaking of Vegas as an 'Elephant Graveyard' for former stars.

I think the rumor was Hoda Kolb might replace her.

I'm kind of curious how expensive something like this is to shoot. Does her show have a lot of production/skits or something?

I heard the Sherri Shepherd show was cancelled and the Jennifer Hudson show could be next and maybe Tamron Hll and the Jason Show is all we have left of daytime TV talk.
