Yes, Shogun I would recommend. It's mostly in Japanese, but there is an English dub on Hulu, if you don't enjoy subtitles.

The 1st season of Presumed Innocent on Apple TV+ is a standalone season and 10 episodes. It's really solid.

Teenage Bounty Hunters (Netflix)

One and done season. Usually I just forget about one and done shows that I like. It’s not a big deal if it doesn’t get renewed. However, I was disappointed Teenage Bounty Hunters didn’t get renewed!

Anyone here watch Kidnapped? It only ran for one season, in fact only aired 5 episodes and the last 8 came later on an NBC website. I have the complete series and haven't watched it yet. Good cast: Jeremy Sisto, Delray Lindo, Timothy Hutton, Dana Delaney.

Godless (Netflix, 7 episode limited series) - a Western set in a small town populated by mostly women

Patriot (Amazon Prime, 18 episodes, I really wish there had been more) - a US intelligence agent has an existential crisis while on the job

I liked it a lot and I do also have the DVD boxset. Since the show didn't end on cliffhanger and brings the kidnapping storyline to a satisfying end, the show works as a limited series. In my opinion it had the potential to be something like '24' with kidnappings instead of terrorism.
