Holy shit. I knew he was in rough shape but that’s crazy. Especially when he just perform ended his farewell performance only a couple of weeks ago. RIP Ozzy.

Wow... definitely will miss the Oz man. He kept going just long enough for his final show.

Wow. RIP to a true legend. I love his voice. Just so unique and iconic. You know an Ozzy song in the first second you hear him.
Ozzy was one of the main artists from the early 80's, that if my dad knew I secretly listened to, I would have been sent off to a special "deprogramming" camp. And I am not exaggerating.

RIP to Ozzy. At least he got to preform and say his goodbyes to his fans just a few short weeks ago.

Fuck!
At least he got to do that one last concert a couple weeks ago. I've been listening to him (and Sabbath) since I was a teen back in the 80s. The Ultimate Sin was the first compact disc I ever bought when I got my first CD player. This really sucks...RIP Ozzy.
I'm a big fan of his voice as well. I guess with parents like yours, Ozzy was probably Public Enemy #1 during the Satanic Panic era in the 80s. Luckily my parents were ok with whatever I listened to, and I listened to much "worse" than Ozzy back then.
Gonna spin some Sabbath vinyl tonight.

My dad had terminal cancer. He held on until we said our goodbyes. He passed a week later. When you're ready, you're ready.

I was never a huge fan of Ozzy/Sabbath, but without him we wouldn’t have the greatest music genre ever: Heavy Metal.

I was unprepared for fame
Then everybody knew my name
No more lonely nights, it's all for you
I have traveled many miles
I've seen tears and I've seen smiles
Just remember that it's all for you
Don't forget me as the colors fade
When the lights go down
It's just an empty stage
Okay
Yes, I've been a bad guy
Been higher than the blue sky
And the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man
I've made momma cry
Don't know why I'm still alive
Yes, the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man
Many times I've lost control
They tried to kill my rock and roll
Just remember I'm still here for you
I don't wanna say goodbye
When I do, you'll be alright
After all, I did it all for you

"The Godfather of Heavy Rock*"
(*Ozzy didn't like the term "Heavy Metal" in regards to his music)
