Paul McCartney: Got Back in 2025 US Tour Announced

Paul McCartney announces Got Back 2025 US tour dates: How to get tickets

Paul McCartney hardly needs to step on a stage again.

But at 83, the indefatigable Beatle is indeed taking another spin around the U.S. with his Got Back tour.

The 19-date North American jaunt of arenas and a few stadiums will kick off Sept. 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, and hit cities including Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Atlanta and Chicago.

Tickets will go on sale at paulmccartneygotback.com at 10 a.m. local time July 15.
The day before the announcement, McCartney teased fans on his Instagram stories with a photo of a pair of guitar picks etched with the name of the tour. This new round of concerts is an extension of his Got Back run in 2022 that played 16 U.S. dates before rolling through Australia, South America and Europe until a London finale last December.

But much like his lifelong comrade Ringo Starr – also still regularly on the road with his All-Starr Band – McCartney relishes sharing his incomparable catalog with fans.

In February, he prompted many a dropped jaw with a handful of hastily announced shows at the 500-capacity Bowery Ballroom in New York City. His 100-minute set with his longtime band hopscotched among Beatles classics ("A Hard Day's Night," "Let It Be"), Wings masterworks ("Maybe I'm Amazed," "Jet") and even the ostensibly final Beatles song, "Now and Then," released in November 2023.

Along with his tireless spirit, McCartney remains a jovial presence onstage, his affection for fans apparent as he bops his head and grins through songs performed thousands of times.

Here's where you'll have a chance to hear some of them live this year.

Tempting to see him again. Plus he is playing Minneapolis on my birthday. We’ll see.

Re: Paul McCartney: Got Back in 2025 US Tour Announced

He sounded really bad the last time I saw him in Vegas, maybe 10 or 12 years ago. I said at the time that would be my last time seeing him. But apparently he sounded good in the Bowery show. And I feel like I might regret not seeing him one last time. Will probably get tickets if they're not insanely expensive (which I am sure they will be).

I saw him in 2014 and thought he sounded good. Granted that’s been eleven years though. At that time I thought he was still quite impressive for an older performer.

Nov. 6: Nashville – The Pinnacle That's a small venue (4500) that punches above it's weight. It just opened this spring. If he throws in a club he will hit all venue types because he's got theater, arena and stadiums.

Just a really weird selection of stops. Palm Desert, but not LA or SF. No NYC dates. Stops in Tulsa and Des Moines, but nothing in Detroit or Seattle. No Texas or Florida dates.

Coors Field in Denver is an odd choice, they don't do many concerts there. For stadium acts, it's Mile High. But I guess we can be sure that the Rockies won't be playing postseason baseball.

Playing the Hammer in the newly renovated arena's grand opening. Nice. I won't go, but still nice.

Fan Club presale was this morning. For Atlanta prices were $38, $118, $250 and then $500-$4200. I had a lowish queue number (5556) for Sunday but all the cheaper ones were gone. Only the really expensive ones and a few $250 in the high upper. I'll try again on Friday.

Dynamic pricing in effect. Nosebleeds for Chicago now up to $830 (those are NOT resale).

Jesus wept. Those prices are going to keep a lot of fans out of the arena. One of my friends got the presale event, and it was 1K for OK seats, and for nosebleeds, it was 800. No thanks. And these are large venues. Does Sir Paul need money that badly?

Got lower bowl, pretty far back tickets. Didn't want to spend a fortune. Still was pretty pricey with fees and taxes.

As much as I’m tempted not sure if I want to spend almost $400 for two tickets. Plus food, hotel, gas, merch, etc. obviously adds even more to the cost.

Wow, nosebleeds are a lot less than that at Allegiant Stadium. I almost got 'best' football seats on the 30 yard line for $399 each (they have access to a private club area), but figured it was worth a combined $150 savings to move back a couple of sections. The cheapest seats were $34 (or was it $39? Either way, terrible seats were very inexpensive.

They had those $38 for Atlanta and having been there they won’t have been terrible for an arena. Second level in a hockey arena tend to have a steeper angle. The Ticketmaster queue was giving live up dates that said them and later the $118 had sold out. I’m sure more tickets will be available at the General at lower street (for a short time anyway) and they it’s just a play of chicken with TM if I’m skunked. With only a rare few exceptions this game of them dribbling out tickets will continue for months. I’m just randomly check back.

Google tells me he's only worth about 1.3 billion.
Add the fact that he'll be dead soon and needs to accumulate as much money to take care of his kids and grandkids.

I appreciate his fans willing to help him out with his financial struggles.

Well, looks like I'll die without ever having seen a Beatle perform.

You could see Ringo play with his All Starr band at your nearest local Amphitheater for about twenty bucks any Summer.

I saw the same thing when I tried yesterday (300 section anywhere from $649-800). But just when I was about to give up, I moused over the 200 section and saw three 200 level Sapphire VIP tickets for $399 each for some reason, so I grabbed them. I think the VIP thing just gets us lanyards and another free gift, but whatever.
The whole dynamic pricing thing makes no sense. When I moused over one of the floor levels it said there were 32 tickets available priced from $399. But I checked each individual ticket out and none was less than $1,049. It's bullshit.

That is awful. Dynamic pricing is really ugly and honestly doesn't make any sense to me. It's a bad look for sure.

Add salt to the wound. $8.85. General Admission, sit anywhere you want. Plus he was 50 years younger.

Re: Paul McCartney: Got Back in 2025 US Tour Announced

Managed to get upper level seats at State Farm for under $300 for a Sunday show. Glad to be in the building and will keep an eye out to see if I can upgrade for $10 if/when the prices come down. Annoying as hell to see the seats on the left of me going for $669.25 and the right $661.85 on verified resale. The bloody general started an hour ago. F this system.
