So the New York Times is currently running a feature on the 100 Best Films of the 21st Century. They have revealed up to their #60 choice so far.
In addition, they have a Reader's Poll . You are given a ballot and allowed to vote for up to 10 films of your choice. Then you can post your ballot.
Lots of people are posting their ballots online. I thought it might be fun for the folks here to vote and post your ballot here.

This is one of those things that looks cool, but sadly don't feel like I have the time to sift through a thousand movie titles to remind myself what's come out since the year 2000 starting line.

I should do a special shoutout to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I just didn’t want to take up three spots with it.

Dark Knight will be number one by default since it is the greatest thing created my humankind since we slithered from the oceans all those millenia ago.

Good to see the love for Almost Famous. That would be my #1.

I can’t even attempt a ‘best’ list that applies any kind of objective metric. I narrowed it down to 10 favorites, but am sure those change with time & mood as well.

If you're honest with yourself, is any of those in the top ten best films in the past 25 years? I ask this as a fellow Pokemon fan who's seen at least 5 of the movies since 2000. If you want to just go the favorites route, then by all means.

Good lord. I put my list together sitting at my son's drum lesson and not in my home theater, or else I surely wouldn't have blanked on Tenenbaums, which is the only post-2000 movie I have a framed poster of. That would knock off either Hereditary, Green Room or Drive for me. Also, everything from your list other than that and Ghost World were on my short list of ~25 that I narrowed down to 10, so good taste in movies!

Speaking of Tenenbaums, here's my daughter's list. She hadn't finished when I did mine, was working diligently on it at the time. Pretty respectable list, even if she's still a Gen Z Shrek Stan (as well as an obsessive Lynch fan)

You must be new here. I'm pretty sure Ash has said before that the only movies he's liked in the last 50 years are Kill Bill v1 and Pokemon. I'm surprised he was able to make an entire top 10 list.

I might make a list later but I would rather just watch the Terrifier or John Wick films again than most of what has been released over the last 25 years.

I don't usually put lists together, so this is without mulling over too much and mostly off the top of my head.

It's impossible for me to narrow it down to 10. The only 2 I know for sure that would be on it are Tar & Children of Men
