Quick binge as this was only 6 episodes. Well acted with a somewhat predictable turn and a weird ending.
Somewhat favorable reviews mainly for the acting.

The first couple of minutes had me at the edge of my seat. After that it was a solid crime thriller, but I hate the cliche of the mentor/best friend twist. I really thought they wouldn't go for it, but they always do and they even doubled down on it.

Yeah, this was a solid crime drama but a bit cliche. My son is a rock climber so that first scene in Ep. 1 really hit hard.

I thought this was "meh". The story was nothing special. However, the beautiful shots of Yosemite were great. Some of the plot seemed rush, like the Vasquez mineshaft situation. That tense moment lasted a couple minutes with zero payoff.
Will I watch another season? Probably not.

I liked it. It didn't blow me away, but it kept me interested enough to binge it in a couple of days. I liked the mentor/mentee relationship between Turner and Vasquez, so I hope she's in season 2. The way it ended, though, I wonder if season 2 might be set in a totally different location.

I thought it was awesome and cool that it went from being a limited series to coming back for another season. I thought the Yosemite cinematography was epic but I have no interest in ever visiting. I'm not a nature person.
