How much screen time does Keanu actually get? 10 minutes? 15?

20 minutes of Mr. Wick seems more than enough to me. I just wish they'd kept his guest appearance a secret (although I understand why they didn't).

Watching the credits roll on this right now - it’s pretty fucking awesome. There is a sequence that I’ve literally never seen in an action movie before. There are some brutal kills in here too.
There are plenty of “Wick”-like moments but they do a good job of making them feel fresh and new. The whole ending set piece is wild. Keanu has more to do than I thought he would. And De Armas is fantastic - really hope she gets to do another one. She’s very believable as an assassin and gets to kick a lot of ass.
Really enjoyed it!

This was a blast on Dolby, looked great and sounded awesome. Ana can stuff a grenade in my mouth and blow me up any day of the week. She kicked so much ass in this. Some really great action, some really shocking kills. I hope this does well and we get another with her. It's also kinda sus that Len Weisman directed this?! It really feels like Chad ghost directed this because it fits into the Wick Universe so easily and really had the same look and feel.

I loved it. It was so fucking badass. Ana de Armas killed it. And John Wick was used appropriately in this for this tale. It was a symphony of blood and mayhem.

I liked that they made Eve badass, yet vulnerable. She got her ass kicked and was hurt many times, yet was able to get creative with her comebacks. The sequence in that village was bananas. The blow torch battle was so wild.
And I don’t buy for a second that Wiseman directed those action and fight sequences. That was signature Stahelski.
And I think Keanu appears in 4 to 5 scenes and has about 15 or so minutes of screen time. Like I said, it worked for this movie.
And there was some dark humor spread here and there. The “Frank” scene cracked up my audience.
I had a blast, I think I may see it one more time this weekend. I agree, I hope this does well enough to get another adventure with Eve. They certainly left things open.

"But according to three insiders with knowledge of the project, the reality was that Stahelski actually had to reshoot most of the movie due to Wiseman’s cut not passing muster. According to one insider, a significant portion of “Ballerina” was reshot in Budapest with Wiseman not present on set."

Just back from seeing this... absolutely loved it. It was insane in the Dolby theater... I could feel the grenades and other explosives going off. de Armas really shined in the roll and I hope it's not the last we see of her. If nothing else some sort of team up in JW5.
Think I'm gonna have to catch this one more time while it's still on the premium screen.

Got another ticket. Seeing it in 4DX Saturday. Used the $5 ticket promo from T-Mobile.
Not sure how well 4DX will work with this, but hell it’s only $5.

Entertaining enough spin-off that features great stunts and action sequences one would expect from the franchise and while the story isn't terribly strong (to be fair none of the JW movies had amazing plots), it was a solid time-waster and Ana de Armas was fairly good in the lead. Reeves for his part probably had about 10-minutes of screen time and likely collected a nice paycheck for a day or two of filming. I won't say it broke new ground however I did think it was a step up from John Wick: Chapter 4. ***½/*****

I cracked up at the random bad guy who was self-aware: “This is suicide, that’s John Wick!”
I thought it was good, probably in the middle as far as the franchise goes. Ana and the action scenes were great

I just saw it in Dolby tonight. I loved it, but yeah the Dolby mix can be silly, early in the movie, regular punches were super amplified for no real reason, but once she was tossing grenades, the extra volume and bass was nice as bad guys got exploded. They definitely set up the sequel with the exact method of the John Wick movies, they just need time to brainstorm more unique weapons and kills like they did with the grenades and flame throwers that elevated this one to the next level

This was pretty middling. Not great/not horrible. A little TOO much action and not enough plot. I wouldn't discourage anyone from seeing it, but if you want to wait for streaming, I wouldn't discourage that either.

I saw it a second time tonight in 4DX. It was wild and a pretty packed audience tonight.
Ive mentioned it before that with 4DX, the seats move around and vibrate with every punch, kick, car chase and crash action sequence. Imagine how crazy the seats went during the grenade explosions and flame throwers battle.
Also you get squirts of water with rain and blood splattered out. The woman next to me said to her husband, were we supposed to get that gush of water?
In the snow sequences, it actually snowed in the theater
Everyone was surprised. And there was a rain scene where you felt a light drizzle on you. In the headshots, you felt puffs of air through on your head.
This is like the fourth time I’ve experienced this format and it worked really well with this movie. If you get nauseous with motion sickness, then it’s definitely not for you. It was literally like an amusement park ride.
I plan to try the format again with F1.
