In SHADOW FORCE, Kyrah (Washington) and Isaac (Sy) were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force. They broke the rules by falling in love, and in order to protect their son, they go underground. With a large bounty on their heads, and the vengeful Shadow Force hot on their trail, one family’s fight becomes all-out war.

Wu Tang Clan ain't nothing to fuck with.This is the 1st time I've heard of this movie. Kerry Washington rarely does theatrical movies. It looks fun and has a very Mr and Mrs Smith vibe.

I caught a matinee today. Not that I was expecting this to be great, but it was a pretty dull action movie. I actually dozed off in the middle for about 10 minutes.
Washington and Sy are likable and the kid, who plays their son is cute. He actually has a funny fascination with Lionel Richie music. But, Mark Strong is just a typical cliched mustache twirling villain and the action is just uninspired.
6 out of 10 and maybe a C from me.
Awful title too. It's like a 90s DTV name. Regal actually handed out tablets after the movie was over to take a survey.

I'll watch this on Netflix but they essentially dumped this in theaters just for the tax write off. It's in theaters this week, it will be out of theater by the end of next week.

I thought it was a paint by the numbers action flick but the kid was adorable. His response to Method Man asking about Wu-Tang Clan was classic.

$2M opening weekend. Yikes! It will likely be on PVOD in 2 weeks.
