14th Annual Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

Dates: Sunset on February 28th to sunrise on April 1st. We have overlapping challenges this year. The Oscar challenge runs until March 2, so any action/adventure/crime/mystery flicks that were nominated or won Oscars will count as double credit for both challenges during those 2 days. Also, the B-Movie/Exploitation Challenge begins at dusk on March 30th so any action/adventure movies that also qualify for the April challenge will count as double credit. Rules: Any film or TV show listed on IMDB/AllMovie with a genre of action, adventure, crime, or mystery counts for this challenge. You can use any counting method you choose.

Joining in. Just got a new 4K TV, so I'm eager to try it out. I had been using a 4K laser projector the last 4 years or so, but it's just not quite there for the colors. Have some action movies that will look great.

Re: 14th Annual Action/Adventure/Crime/Mystery Challenge

Earlier this week while randomly searching YouTube I discovered a channel that someone put together with multiple playlists featuring a common theme of various 80s Saturday morning cartoons, complete with commercial and bumbers from the era. It definitely brings out the nostalgia.

I’m nearly caught up with Yellowstone, so I hope to tackle a few short-season series this month. First up: The Night Agent s2.

Speaking of The Night Agent, its lead, Gabriel Basso, also appears in the Netflix DTV Trigger Warning starring Jessica Alba, which is so bad I probably should’ve saved it for the exploitation challenge.
