Rank the Three Colors movies
How do you rank the films in the Three Colors trilogy in order of enjoyment?
For me, it is Blue, White then Red, but I could have gone either way between Blue and White. Red is a distant 3rd.

For me it depends on the day or my mood. They're all great for different reasons. The last time I watched them I had them all at 4.5 stars on Letterboxd.
But most of the time I think I go Red>Blue>White. Irene Jacob is maybe the most perfect woman to ever be captured on screen, so that puts it over the top for me. (And for that reason, I like The Double Life of Veronique more than any of them.)

Oof, I haven't seen any of them in over 25 years, but from what I recall, it was Red>Blue>White for me as well.

^ About 12 years for me. I know I enjoyed them enough to hang on to the Criterion set that I blind bought, so it's probably time for a rewatch.
For now, I'll put Blue first because of Binoche. Can barely remember Red at all, which is why I ranked it last.

"Red", "Blue", "White" for me. And surprised to see "White" getting picked over "Red" in the poll. I thought that was universally chosen third among fans. Other scorecards (in order of release):
"Blue" - 97% (critics) / 93% (audience) on RT, 0 Oscar nominations.
"White" - 89% (critics) / 87% (audience) on RT, 0 Oscar nominations.
"Red" - 100% (critics) / 94% (audience) on RT, 3 Oscar nominations (Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography).
"Blue" - 97% (critics) / 93% (audience) on RT, 0 Oscar nominations.
"White" - 89% (critics) / 87% (audience) on RT, 0 Oscar nominations.

I should watch these again. 30 years of life experience would probably change my perspective. Nevertheless, I liked all 3 movies almost equally..

Re: Rank the Three Colors movies
Wait, Dennis Hopper's COLORS (1988) with Sean Penn had two sequels?

They're all brilliant, but for me it's Red, White, then Blue.
