I buy most of my Hong Kong movies from places like hivizone. I have had one problem with hivizone in the past, out of about 14 orders, but they fixed it quickly. I wanted a movie quickly for my brothers birthday, so I tried out this place because it is based in America, and they promised quick delivery. I placed my order of one DVD. Well the first problem I had was how long it took. The only reason I paid more for this order was because I wanted it quickly. A few people on this site said they were fast, (of course, all new members) so I figured it would be cool. Well over a week passed, and I emailed them asking were my order was. No response to the email. After 2 days, I emailed them again, and used their online email program. After 7 emails and 2 weeks, no response. I finally get my package. I open it up, and immediately notice that it is the wrong movie. On top of that, it is a used copy, or at least there was no plastic cover over it, so if it was not used, it was at least opened before. So I email them again, telling them. I get a response to mail it back, and that they would send out the right copy when they got it, and reimburse me for the shipping charges. Already it was past my brothers birthday, and I had to get him something else. I wrote them back, asking if I could just mail it back to them and they would reimburse me for the disc, and the shipping.

Once again they would not respond to my email. I know it is not because they are swamped, they seem to selectively ignore emails. After 1 more email, they did respond saying they could not do that, that all sales were final. So I mailed it back. Well, this monday two and a half weeks after I mailed the wrong DVD back to them, I finally get my order. Once again the DVD did not have a plastic cover over it, making me think it was used, but at least it was the right movie. As of now, I still have not been credited back my shipping cost, and they are ignoring my emails.

Stay away from this company at all cost. I am sure when things go right, they are ok, but when things go wrong, they do not want to help.

Thanks for the tip. I won't buy from them anyway because they are so expensive!

Though, most HK CDs and DVDs don't have plastic security stickers to begin with, so I don't think that is necessarily a fault.

every Hong Kong DVD I have from hivizone, or others, has been shrink-wrapped...I am not saying these are illegal, because they are not..I am just saying they might be selling used DVDs...on top of the poor CS...

Only the Mega Star DVDs that I've purchased from American online stores have been shrinkwrapped. None of the Universe, Mei Ah, or Ocean Shores discs purchased from Hivizone or Asianxpress were. They each had a sticker on the side & were inside a resealable sleeve/bag.

Yeah, I kind of think of those bags as shrink-wrap, when they are not..but this place just sent out DVDs that have nothing..
