What are you watching for Halloween?

Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street and Gremlins.
Oddly enough I've never seen Halloween or any of the sequels.

Just watched The Babadook for the first time. After walking around the neighborhood tonight, I'll do Halloween 1 & 2 back-to-back

I watched Nightmare on Elm Street last weekend for the first time in 20 years. Looked great in 4k

Just watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Debating which John Carpenter to put in next.

Halloween 1978. My wife hasn't seen it. She doesn't like horror

Zodiac. But not because it's Halloween or anything. Zodiac just rules.

Watching the original Halloween 1978 old school style. Sticking in a Blu-Ray disc.

Didn't watch anything, despite my 4K copy of Trick 'r Treat arriving in time.

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

I was on candy duty, so I didn't get a chance to sit down and watch anything until around 8. Re-watched Trick R Treat and the original Halloween before going to bed.

You are doing yourself a huge disservice not seeing the original. You can make your mind up about the others after.

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

I did At the Mouth of Madness and Young Frankenstein. FWIW, if you take any CBD edibles before a movie, the latter can be less damaging than the former of these two.

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

We're the last block before the sound barrier wall to the local interstate, and I'm watching the row of houses across the street once again refuse to do anything for trick-or-treaters, which basically means we get very few trekking to our side and making it to our house in the middle of our street.

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

Went through a lot of my usual disc library of horror films. Halloween, The Ring, Conjuring, Insidious, Exorcist, Hellraiser and many more. Great time of year, fall is. Now, time to move onto some sci-fi and Star Wars!

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

October was our horror movie month. For the last 3 nights leading into Halloween we watched Oculus, Hereditary, and finally Sleepy Hollow on Halloween night.

Re: What are you watching for Halloween?

I ALWAYS watch Halloween '78 on Halloween day along with Trick 'R Treat - yes, Trick 'r Treat isn't the greatest, but it's all Halloween and I love Sam's "If you don't celebrate, I'll get ya" vibe. I found out Trick 'r Treat FINALLY got a 4K release as well.
