Just saw the trailer last night. Looks like it could be fun for a PG-13 action movie. A Die Hard type actioner. At least Bateman has some credibility at playing some serious parts.

Could be entertaining as long as it isn't overlong and pretentious. Digging Bateman as the villain.

I really enjoyed this. Had some “Cellular” mixed with “Phone Booth” vibes.
I like the cast. Easy to root for the Kingsman!

Agree with all this. The script did have a few eye rolling moments. One was when that old woman walked by Egerton after Bateman bumped into him saying "Airports turn people into such dickheads". Funny? Sure. But stupid IMO. And that passenger going through security saying to Egerton "Does it take a doctorate to read a computer screen? Let's go!" and "It's called a book. You might want to read one when you get your GED." Also stupid and completely unreal. Yes, passengers can be rude. But if you ever talked to a TSA person like that, your ass would be bounced from that airport so fast. Now that should have happened in that scene.

This was really good. Suspend your disbelief if you’re real big into being in an airport and know all about their procedures and fly a lot, but man, this is a lot of FUN, very tense and exciting.
I loved it, my girlfriend loved it, and I’m sure others will like it as well. Terrific script and Jason Bateman is convincing as the villain . Just cold fucking blooded.
It’s exciting from start to finish. It’s not overly long in about an hour and 50 minutes

Really enjoyed this. Good action and tension. It was like Cellular, Phone Booth and Passenger 57 all mixed together.
Bateman was a good and believable villain. The epilogue was a little corny, but that’s typical for these kinds of movies. A solid watch. Surprised that Dreamworks produced this and it wasn’t solely a Netflix movie.

This was a fun watch. Felt like an old-school action/thriller in the vein of Die Hard, Sudden Death, etc. That high speed car crash with the police woman fighting the bad guy, shown from the inside of the car, was pretty cool.

Egerton looked like he put on some mass. When he was doing those full speed running scenes, almost felt like he was putting together a reel to get the role of Wolverine.

This movie had some good ideas but I feel like it was full of stupidity as well. The whole car fight scene looked ridiculous and really that whole subplot with the fake agent was not needed. The airport is supposed to have thousands of people and yet it's empty everywhere the action happens, including a parking garage where a guy is going around with a gun looking for his prey. Let's not forget that he has a sniper rifle but he's going to come into the airport with a knife and gun, stab a TSA agent, and absolutely nobody does anything. There must not be cops or security at LAX anywhere.

This was a lot like Trap. Character written into a corner and the writers had a hard time solving his way out. I remember Nick of Time being that way too. It’s a style. I enjoy it for what it is. Some of it had me tense.

Not great and some eye rolling moments, but can't deny that I was mostly entertained. Bateman was solid as the villain.

Bateman has gone full blown villain since Ozark.
It was decent. Lots of eye rolling moments but was entertaining enough.

I was entertained. Not a perennial watch like Die Hard but the same kind of vibe.

Surprised to see people enjoying this. Both the wife and I thought it was a slog. It being during Christmas was clearly a last-minute add-on so they could justify the release time and marketing.
I love Bateman as an actor, but he can't pull off ruthless killer very well, IMO.

I watched this a second time and the thought occurred to me that this is exactly what an AI written movie would look like. I know it was written by a human but there's so much to pick apart that it's hard to ignore. Everything from the way characters are written to the dialogue they speak. Everything is contrived. The direction and performances are fine and I think that's why people can enjoy this but IMO this is one of the worst movies of this genre.
