Former Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist Jake E. Lee Shot Multiple Times in Las Vegas
Jake E. Lee, guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne in the 1980s, was shot multiple times during a street shooting early Tuesday morning (October 15th) in Las Vegas, as confirmed by his management. He is in an intensive care unit, but is expected to fully recover.
A full statement from Lee’s publicist reads as follows:
“As confirmed by management, legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) was shot multiple times early this morning in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to fully recover.
Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours. As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming. Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.”

Wow, that's crazy. Sounds like he was caught in the crossfire of some bullshit.

Wow. That sucks. Bruce Kulick of KISS was shot about 20 years ago just walking down the street with some friends in Hollywood. Random shooter shooting wildly. I wonder if this was the same, or if he got caught in a crossfire or something.
Crazy.

I've always liked his stuff. I think some of his Red Dragon Cartel band has some decent stuff as well. I hope he comes out of this ok.

Damn. Thankful that he'll likely survive. Was just listening to the first Badlands record the other day - weird.

"The Ultimate Sin" is an underrated album. Some really great songs on there and a killer cover by Boris Vallejo. Easily Ozzy's third-best solo album.
Good to know he's doing well.

The Ultimate Sin was the first compact disc I ever bought when I got my first CD player back around 1986. Good album and cool Boris cover.
