I really enjoyed this. It starts off a bit slow for the first 10 or 15 minutes, but then it picked up and pulled me in.
I don't want to openly spoil anything since it just came out, but it reminded me a lot of the movies from

I knew absolutely nothing about this movie going in and I'm so glad that was the case. Loved it.

Something really weird happened when I watched this...for the first 20 minutes the screen was zoomed in to where I could only see parts of faces. I not knowing thought that was the way it was filmed. I was really annoyed by it, paused the movie and came here to see if anyone else stated that. I thought well that is a very weird artistic choice.
No mention of that anywhere. I returned to watch the movie and rewound about a few minutes and it popped back to what it should look like. So I started over.
I thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't watch it again but it was good enough. It was fairly easy to figure out what was happening before the reveal however.

I thought it was interesting but am not sure if it was actually super clever or just trying to do a mind fuck. I didn't go back and analyze whether everything made sense.

This flick gave me
which is always a good thing. It even fooled me for a while with
.
This film also nails the believability with the family and characters in general, feels really fleshed out. The directing and cinematography are great as well.
Hope this flick gets the attention it deserves. Nice little surprise for me.

I liked the fact it didn't overly hold your hand. Things happen, it explains some of it but most of it is just characters figuring things out for themselves.
