I also saw this over the weekend and really enjoyed this one. Great cast, the story was engaging. It was "Heat"-esk.

This movie was great and awesome.

I like when Jude Law does other roles outside of rom coms though he has not done those for a while.

Law and Hoult killed in this movie.

The guy who played Richard Butler I thought at first was Richard Jenkins but somebody else.

It is not streaming anywhere for free yet. As good as the cast is it does not scream see me at the Box Office...

Damn, thought I posted my mini review here. I saw this about 2-3 months ago. Agree with everything you said. Fantastic film. One of 2024's best.

Anyone know which service is getting this and when released?

It's Vertical Entertainment. Hulu usually puts out their movies for SVOD. However, it's not on the schedule for March, so who knows when this is coming out.

I caved and used my Amazon digital credits since this came out in October and waiting forever though probably used the equivalent of 2 movies credit since it was $9.99 to rent in HD.

Definitely worth a watch when you get the chance.

It’s also got an extremely generic title. I know there are a handful of similarly titled movies out there that have also gone mostly unnoticed.

It is much better than that Heath Ledger movie

Maybe Silent Brotherhood would be a better title since that was the name of the book unless there were legal issues.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit, sure there will me minor gripes, but I loved the early 80s setting out west. Cast was good. I'll watch it again at some point,

The Blu-ray is around $12 or $13 and I bought it.

Bob Matthews the most exciting name for a movie villain.

This could've easily been forgettable. Law fleshed out a role we've seen a million times. The first armored truck robbery scene - Hoult character in the van drives by and basically spares him - Law's face just sells the near death experience.

Watching Kurzel's other films now. His work set in the 80-90s feels very authentic and the violence feels real. He's good at humanizing people who do terrible things. Or maybe he's just attracted to those types of stories; Snowtown, Nitram and The Order all being based on real people and events.

Hulu in 2 days

It is amazing a movie that came out in the Summer August 31, 2024 finally is on a streamer in Spring on April 18, 2025.

This is a movie that should have been rallied around the way a movie like The Town was. Great crime drama.

Maybe it would have helped if they put the movie on streaming a lot earlier and not wait through 3 seasons of the year with the theater to VHS equivalent window to hit Hulu.

Been wanting to see this since I saw the trailer and either missed the short run it had here, or it didn't make it here.

Not a perfect movie, but a pretty damned good one. Would like to see something like this explored deeper in a limited series though.

Loved Jude law as Dabney Coleman and Nicholas Hoult as knockoff Tom Cruise.
