This feels like the fourth or fifth movie (almost in a row) where Nicole Kidman plays a character having an affair with a much younger man.

I enjoyed it overall. Kidman turns in a great performance. Harris Dickinson continues to be one of the best up-and-comers.

It is 100% not a mainstream film, so I wouldn't expect general audiences to care for it.

I think it's already dropping on digital at the end of January, but I can't wait to see this. My kind of shit, Even bought my GF the A24 shirt with the glass of milk on it. lol

This was very good! Kidman was raw and sexy and fearless. Harris played his role perfectly and dancing to "father figure" makes the list of scenes of the year. These two matching each other's freak was well done. Loved the music. For me, Best Actress is between Kidman and Madison. I'd love either to get it.

When I went to see it there was no Nicole Kidman AMC "that's magic" promo in front of the Nicole Kidman weird sex film.

Saw it this afternoon. It’s definitely “different”. I think this was a really good performance by Kidman. She showed a darker and more sexual side with a little vulnerability. I really don’t know how I would describe this movie to someone. It’s definitely not mainstream and not for most people. Normally I would not seek out a movie like this, but for a free ticket from A24, it wasn’t the worst way to kill a couple of hours. A decent one time watch.

I had four walk-outs from an audience of twenty.
The movie was watchable, but didn't intrigue or stimulate me much. The best part to me was Nichole Kidman. She has an amazing ability to play characters who are so cold, and alien, yet feel rich and vivid instead of dull or off-putting.

Thought it was the perfect length at 1 hour, 50 minutes before end credits. That "Father Figure" scene was something else.

I like Nichole Kidman so I suppose I should enjoy seeing her fake orgasms but I've seen enough of those in real life. Successful people are secretly masochist, I haven't seen that since a Colombo rerun I saw the other night. Women can have a mid-life crisis, who'd have thunk it? I didn't believe anything the characters did, except for the last office scene.

Kidman was great and brave for doing some of those belittling scenes and eating food like a dog.

Maybe if they got somebody hotter like Connie Britton, Marisa Tomei, or Diane Krueger I would have been aroused though maybe they could not reach Nicole's level of performance.

Harris Dickinson must be 8 feet tall.
