Not really sure how this is very interesting if you know the story. Probably a pass for me.

It was not bad and Daniel Zovatto was great as the killer.

Really strong (and creepy) opening and closing. Meh middle but I love Anna Kendrick so enjoyed it all the way through.

Sad they took a long time to catch that guy when the clues were everywhere.

She donated all of her salary or income from the movie to charity

Anna Kendrick revealed during an interview on the “Crime Junkie AF” podcast that she made no money from directing “Woman of the Hour” because she donated her pay to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) and the National Center for Victims of Violent Crime. These organizations are two of the country’s leading nonprofits that support survivors of sexual abuse and violence.
“This was never a money-making venture for me,” Kendrick said. “Eventually, Netflix bought the movie. But it wasn’t until, like, the week before [the movie’s premiere at] TIFF that I thought, ‘Oh, the movie’s gonna make money. I asked myself the question of, ‘Do you feel gross about this?’ And I did.”
“So I’m not making money off of the movie,” she continued. “The money is going to — or has gone to — RAINN and to the National Center for Victims of Violent Crime. That felt like the least that I could do.”

I posted this in the horror challenge thread. While the full Dating Game episode clip was supposed to have been lost, someone found it and posted it on YouTube after seeing this movie:
A lot of liberty was taken in the movie about how the episode went (aside from the killer winning). And the whole stalking scene after the game was fiction, although the woman did say she got creeped out by talking to Alcala after the show and cancelled the date.

^ Was the twist that they were ALL serial killers? Because judging by those bachelors’ appearances, they were all serial killers.

Saw this a few weeks ago.
Solid as a directorial debut for Anna Kendrick but the script didn't do her any favors, as it felt incredibly flat & unfocused.

This was super creepy. And because I live in a cave, I had no idea it was a true story.
I watched the YT clip, and the actual game show was super-cringe-y as well.
