You can’t win if you don’t play. Starring Awkwafina, John Cena and directed by Paul Feig, Jackpot! arrives August 15.
In the near future, a ‘Grand Lottery’ has been newly established in California - the catch: kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot. When Katie Kim (Awkwafina) moves to Los Angeles, she mistakenly finds herself with the winning ticket. Desperate to survive the hordes of jackpot hunters, she reluctantly joins forces with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (John Cena) who will do everything in his power to get her to sundown in exchange for a piece of her prize. However, Noel must face off with his slick rival Louis Lewis (Simu Liu), who also seeks to collect Katie’s commission at all costs. JACKPOT! is directed by Paul Feig and written by Rob Yescombe.

This is all sorts of terrible but John Cena is the only thing worth a damn in this movie.

John Cena looks like he’s having a good time but that’s the dumbest premise for a movie I’ve seen in a long, long time.

Absolute garbage. Cena always gives 100% no matter the quality of the material.
That said Feig hasn’t done anything worth a damn since Spy. Awkwafina is wooden and looks like she’s reading off cue cards. Lastly,
can we call it a day on Simu Liu? The guy just plain sucks and is a charisma void.

I enjoyed it 
terrible puns, one liners and all around goofiness. It was like Series 7: The Contenders meets Idiocracy. Cena does look like Wreck It Ralph after a cocaine bender. Stupid ass ending though, but what you expect from YouTubers and Wrestlers.
Nobody has ever really argued I have good taste in movies.

I checked this thread to see if this was worth watching, and I was convinced not to do so, but this: "Series 7: The Contenders meets Idiocracy" sounds pretty good.

I like dumb. If you aren't enjoying the first 20 minutes shut it off, it doesn't really change gears.
