Whoa, now we are going all the way to December? I'm about to listen to Cradle of Filth's Hammer of the Witches on vinyl tonight. I'd post an album cover pic but it has boobies!

More Hozier, who I'd never heard of until a week ago. Youtube has been pretty good with their recommendations for me

My Rhino High Fidelity copy of Black Sabbath S/T just showed up in the mail today, I'm gonna spin this tonight in a dark room, it's supposed to sound fantastic!

I just ordered the remixed/expanded version of Velocity Girl's first album, Copacetic.

I'm listening to Johnny Foreigner's The Sky and Sea Were Part of Me (or I Was Part of Them), their first album in 8 years. It's a good week for long-dormant favorites; Me First and the Gimme Gimmes have a live album coming out tomorrow, and it's their first full-length recording in a decade.

This thread seems to have kinda fizzled out after it stopped being a monthly thing...but I got the new Jack White on vinyl today!

It was hardly active the previous months, I contacted the Mods to see if it was better to merge them but never got a response. So I decided to put them together. Same results as before.

Great live performance here from a young, hungry band that was still a few years away from exploding into the stratosphere with 'Kick'. They come flying out of the gate with Soul Mistake and Here Comes and don't let up at all, finishing with a rousing rendition of Don't Change. A shame that there's only 9 songs here but this is an excellent live album nevertheless. Great sounding vinyl and a nice looking gatefold album, as well. Fans of the band should be all over this ...
