Under Paris (2024, D: Gens) -- Sharks in the Siene!

Summer 2024. Paris is hosting the World Triathlon Championships on the Seine for the first time. Sophia, a brilliant scientist, learns from Mika, a young environmental activist, that a large shark is swimming deep in the river. To avoid a bloodbath at the heart of the city, they have no choice but to join forces with Adil, the Seine river police commander

I'm a sucker for killer shark movies, so I'll give it a watch.

The top comment on YouTube is that this should have been called Shark de Triomphe.
What a missed opportunity.

Watched this today. It's not very good. Maybe a slight step above a Syfy movie, but the French setting superficially classes it up a little. Some fun kill scenes, though. The ending is a bit of a downer.

Watched last night. I wasn't expecting anything great but I was entertained. I'd say it's worth a watch.
Some obvious ridiculous moments but all movies have those. This one just had a lot

Wasn't aware Paris could flood like that. They never really went into the details on the mutations and it's hard to buy that it was because of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Also, only NOW do they realize the amount of ordinance in the Seine from WWII?

This was ok - one or two more shark attack scenes and it would have been more fun.
Good production value for a SyFy type plot. CGI looked good.
Good shots of Paris.
They should have had a full shark attack scene with the dead homeless guy. Wasted potential.
This movie seems to be trending. Maybe Netflix will bump up the budget for a sequel, which can have a lot more action scenes.

First 45 minutes or so were a bit weak, but the final hour more than made up for it.
