New album from Pearl Jam coming soon. First single was just released. Title track. Sounds pretty good to me. Reminds me more of Pearl Jam than most of the tracks off of Gigaton which I admittedly didn’t get into much.

If I didn’t know who that was going in, I would have guessed it was a Bush song.

I like the underlying tune, but not Eddie’s vocals.

I don’t dislike it but it’s more overproduced than virtually anything from them. If it’s like Gigaton the band does the recording individually and not as a unit anymore and you can tell.

I put in for the Saturday night Chicago show. My daughter is a huge fan and I signed up for Ten Club last year for just this reason. I don't know how difficult it will be to actually get some. She has school and we wouldn't be able to go during the week.

I also looked at Indianapolis, which is a little closer, but it's also during the week, and Indiana isn't the greatest place for trans people at the moment.

They lost their chance. I'll settle for the RSD diarrhea edition instead.

Besides, I just (potentially) dropped $765 on a pair of tickets to two shows. Ouch.

Will try for Vegas tickets. Got tickets last tour, which would have been their first Vegas show in 20 years, but they canceled due to Covid.

I'm going to pass on this tour. I either can't make a date due to my schedule (things going on Vegas weekend), or it's a little far (I will be near Missoula but not close enough), or it's an expensive place to visit on top of the show (hey, if I'm going to NYC, I'd like to do a lot more than just a Pearl Jam show).

I saw them twice last summer, so I'm good.

I actually like the new single, but I'm hoping it's not the best song on the album either.

Nowhere close enough to me to consider seeing them on tour this go round. Maybe if more dates are added. I just saw them in August though so not super disappointed.

Yeah even if this album is unmemorable as GIGATON, this will make up for it. Pre-ordered!

Got lucky with tickets to Fenway on the last night of the US leg. Missed out on MSG and Philly. At least I know my way around Boston better than NYC and Philly.

Yup. 10 Club lottery results dropped today. MSG, Philly and Fenway were the last in that order nine hours after the first (Vancouver). I will still try if I get a Verified Fan. It seems the west coast had less demand based on the number of rejections vs selections on the band forums. They still have to give out seat numbers.

Confirmed for Wrigley N1 yesterday afternoon. Still no word on N2. Let's get it over with...

Should there be a notification either way? I only put in for Wrigley on 8/31 and so far I got nothing.

I let it go and I feel okay about it. I decided a while ago that traveling to a "destination city" (most of these are, on this tour) for a concert is way too much money, especially if I'd also want to spend time, money, and energy seeing the destination city.

Plus, I spent more than enough seeing both live shows in my current city last year, a first for me to go to both.

They will send an email by Wednesday night that will tell you if requests were fulfilled or unfulfilled. I’m gotten a few when I didn’t get tickets. Right now after the initial allocation they should be working through requests that had cards declined and give them a chance to fix it. If they don’t fix it they will move to other people. I have a feeling that tickets with be available in the Fan to Fan exchange especially for Wrigley because it’s over labour day. Also a lot of people requested multiple dates that may have regrets and put tickets on the marketplace.

I got my rejection. My daughter is crushed. Also I failed to put in for access for the General Onsale before the cutoff last weekend, because I didn't realize that it was 2 different things that I could put in for. 8/31 is literally the only date I could have made, unless more shows are added.
