Inga Swenson, Kraus on Benson, Hoss Cartwright's mother has died (07/23/2023) at 90
This obit from MeTV, notes that Lowell Harris, her husband of 70 years, was by her side during her final months.
She played Hoss' mother in two flashback episodes of Bonanza and Rose's (Betty White's) younger sister on The Golden Girls. She was Helen Keller's (Patty Duke's) mother in the 1962 film version of The Miracle Worker. She's probably best remembered as Kraus, the perfect foil for Robert Guillaume's Benson. She played a different character (named Ingrid Svenson) on Soap, from which Benson spun off.

Wow. That's a name I haven't thought of since watching Benson during its original run. I am astounded she was still alive! RIP to a great actor.

I’m sad to see all the Benson actors dying off. I have fond memories of it as a kid.

Missy Gold is the last surviving main actor from the show who ended the series.

I always enjoyed Benson. He and Kraus played off each other very well.

Awe wow. I grew up watching her and Benson chop it up. RIP Never knew she played Hoss's Mom, but did remember her in "The Miracle Worker".
