Sad news

I use to have that fur bikini poster frrom the movie One Million Years B.C.

What an incredibly beautiful woman she was.

I will say, however, that she should use her arms more, when she tap dances.

Another icon has passed into history. I'll always know her as Hannie Caulder.

Oh woooow...definitely one of my earliest childhood crushes when my father introduced me to her when we watched "One Million Years B.C.". RIP.

Raquel's work when she was a star in Hollywood was way before my time and when I was a child growing up in the 80s, I didn't watch classic movies. I became familiar with her later in his career. Probably when she was in her mid to late 40s when she became a working actress and did a lot of TV and TV movies. But, I admit she was a total hottie even in middle age and I was just astonished how great she looked when she appeared at many Hollywood premieres back in the day and even when she got much older.

RIP Jo Raquel Tejada.

She was a little before my time, but she was still very attractive even when she was long past her prime. I remember her most from Mother, Juggs, and speed and of course her iconic pose from one Million Years B.C.

A stunner. Like Christine McVie, she too died from a brief illness. RIP! 😢

I was a fan. I first saw her wearing a tight jumpsuit in Fantastic Voyage. I saw Hannie Caulder a couple of years later.

According to her obituary, she had the first interracial sex scene in a Hollywood movie, with Jim Brown. Good for her.

Wow, sad to hear. One of the biggest movie stars of the 1970s. Thought she was excellent in Myra Breckinridge opposite John Huston and a young Farrah Fawcett. Enjoyed her appearances on the Dick Cavett show, as well. She will be missed.

I was very lucky to have been an adolescent moviegoer and be able to watch her emerge as a star in real time and see a lot of her films in theaters. She was a sex symbol, to be sure, and one of the most beautiful of my moviegoing years, but she had a sense of humor about herself and never allowed herself to be exploited. I first saw her in FANTASTIC VOYAGE, ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. and 100 RIFLES. I later caught up with her in BEDAZZLED, THE MAGIC CHRISTIAN, MYRA BRECKINRIDGE, BANDOLERO and many others. Loved her on talk shows and awards shows. One of a kind.

Sad news. I obviously knew of her but aside from the fur bikini in One Million Years B.C. And her guest role on Seinfeld I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in anything.

For some reason I always confused her with Sophia Loren.

Holy cow. I’m just now realizing I’ve been doing this the past few days.

Kept thinking Grumpy Old Men.

The first thing that popped into my head was The Shawshank Redemption.....She commented that she was also a fan of the movie....RIP

Which is sort of weird since she was technically Latina. Her father was Bolivian.

Stella Stevens had a love scene with Jim Brown in SLAUGHTER (1972) and Stella passed away today, Feb. 17, which happens to be Brown's 87th birthday.
