Some people here have been posting this Anne Heche news in the other thread about a nurse who killed 6 people last week. I think it's better to split the news. So here's the story in case you missed it.

Man that is awful as well. She's just lucky she didn't kill anyone else.
She has a history of mental health issues doesn't she? I think I remember some sort of a meltdown after her break up with Ellen.

Yeah her history of mental health struggles are sad.

Glad nobody else got hurt, hopefully she recovers and is out of it within six days, seven nights and gets some help.

Did anyone see this video? It's presumed to be her, she just pops up from under a sheet on the stretcher on the way to the ambulance.

I don’t know why I watched that. horrifying.

She was probably in pain with all the burns on her. You can tell her hair is pretty singed up as well. I don't think she's going to make it. It sounds like her lungs are pretty messed up from the smoke and heat inhalation during the fire and she's got significant burns. Usually when its that bad, infection will set in and that usually what does the burn patients in.

And IF she survives, I doubt we'll be seeing her on the big and small screens ever again - due to her injuries.

Curious on the full story on this one. From reports, hit an apartment building, drove away and then crashes into a house and starts a pretty damaging fire. Feel bad for the homeowner.

If the crash doesn't wind up killing her she's lucky the fentanyl didn't. Or maybe that would've been preferable depending on the burn damage.

Such a tragic end for her. I feel sorry for her family and her kids.

What a horrific accident and a horrific way to have your life end in such a manner.

I hadn’t even heard she was in an accident until I saw the news she’s not expected to survive. I’m sure I sound like an asshole but I don’t as bad for her seeing as drugs were involved and she was driving like that. I’m just glad she didn’t kill anyone else.

The articles say she’s suffering from an anoxic brain injury. You’d be surprised the effects of a traumatic brain injury can be insidious. A lot of times it can take a bit of time for bleeding to start or for it to effect the intracranial pressure to a point where it starts to damage the brain. Or it could have been caused by the severe damage to her lungs but I kind of doubt that as if that was the case they could have put her on ECMO if her injuries were survivable.

Wow, just reading that her brother died in a car crash back in the 80s that Heche believed was suicide (though the official report ruled it as an accident).

That’s really sad. I’ve always been a fan of hers. She has/had that perfect girl-next-door vibe (at least in her earlier work).

It’s hard to feel a ton of sympathy for her with the way things played out in that crash but she’s been suffering from mental illness for a long time. Sounds like it all just finally caught up with her. I’m glad she didn’t kill anyone else on the way out.

Sad news. I really only know her from a few movies. Not a good one but I most think of her as Marion from the remake of Psycho.

Even more distressing is that Lynne lost her entire lifetime of possessions, mementos, all equipment for her business including her laptop and iPad, all of her clothing and basic necessities, and all household items. With firefighters' help, she was able to pull a few damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage. Everything else is gone."

Reports are stating alcohol was not a factor. That said, does seem to be a bottle of vodka in the cup holder in this shot?

It's already at about 150% of goal. I imagine it will land around 200%. It's tough to lose irreplaceable stuff but it's just stuff when one is lucky to be alive.
