kissing booth 2 and 3 were pure shit, but 1 was entertaining enough. This type of role change is interesting.

She was great in The Act. What a change of roles. ​​​​​​

AV Club gave this a D, and I admit to being lazy and not having read the review in full, but it feels like they are saying this was a missed opportunity. There is so much stuff to watch this weekend that I am no longer guaranteed to watch this later today, at first I was reading the thread, and viewed the trailer and said to myself yes, this looks fun and I might even watch before finishing up Stranger Things, but now I am back to probably starting up the last two episodes of Stranger Things this evening.

I do know that D review aside, that I will be watching this film sometime this weekend, as bad reviews do not always keep me away from a film.

What you see in the trailer is pretty much what you get. Sure, it's predictable but I wasn't expecting an A24 movie.

57 on Rotten Tomatoes. One of the positive reviews mentions it as having similarities to Die Hard, and with that I'm in.

I enjoyed it a lot. Pretty much a non-stop action, tower escape movie. I thought King was great at kicking ass, and while Coopers character is 100% cliché, he's always fun to watch.

It’s more kind of a reverse of The Raid… working top to bottom.

It was fun for what it was. Action was well done overall. King looked like she did a lot of her own stunts. The director of this also did Furie, which was a good little action movie as well.

The movie was decent fun, but worth watching if only for Joey King. She was fucking great in this, I could watch her kick peoples asses all day.

Olga Kurylenko should play Sindel in an MK flick.

I wonder if King is going to get more action movies now.

This was really good. Way better than I expected. Reminded of The Raid, but medieval haha

Overall, I wish the characters were developed a bit more before the ass kicking ensues...but ain't nobody got time for that!

Great fight choreography and a silly good time.

Thinking about these female ass-kicking movies and I think I like Mary Elizabeth Winstead's fight scenes better in "Kate" (Yakuza scene), but I liked the plot of "The Princess" more.

"Gunpower Milkshake" was ok, but definitely not better than the other two.

Joey King's talk show interview with Chelsea Handler (Kimmel substitute) was quite revealing. Most notably doing (legal) drugs on set. Not sure she should admit that haha

It could be true love, or it could be that when you are 22 and have already been working around adults for a decade, you feel older than you are, and are over-eager to have the life of a real adult.

At the same time, much better for her to be in a stable and happy committed relationship at 22 versus going the Lindsey Lohan route with her life at that age.

I'm sure it will work out.

Good action and good humor—I liked it. Nothing groundbreaking, of course, but that’s ok.

This is being removed from Hulu in the Disney/Hulu purge and the writer is pretty upset

Well that sucks. I love this movie. Too bad they never released it on 4K UHD BD. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

They need to put more of these streaming exclusives out for sale after a while - I’d buy digital copies of things like The Princess and Boss Level.
