Blood Red Sky (2021) S: Peri Baumeister, Dominic Purcell - Netflix
Nadja and her ten-year-old son are on an overnight flight from Germany to New York when a group of terrorists violently take control of the plane and threaten the lives of the passengers. Suddenly Nadja faces an impossible choice - should she reveal her dark side and the inner monster she has kept hidden from her son for years in order to save him? The hunters become the hunted in this action-horror from director Peter Thorwarth, starring Peri Baumeister and Dominic Purcell.

Just watched this. Not bad at all. Perfect Netflix movie. Interesting concept. It is over 2 hours long, which is too long for a movie like this, though.
it is like 75% English, 25% German, fwiw.

It's like someone saw the teaser trailer for Wes Craven's Red Eye and decided to make the movie that was implied there instead of what we got

Even the creature design wasn't original. The acting wasn't good (I watched the English dub, against my usual MO). The script was shit. Yeah, too long. Overall, didn't like it as much as I wanted.

Just finished it and thought it was pretty cool. They can definitely spin this off into a franchise.

This was a pretty fun movie. It's what you'd expect from a Vampire vs Terrorists On A Plane flick. It's more focused on action and suspense than scares. The vampires looked good. And there's some decent gore effects. I agree with everyone else, it was too bloated. If they trimmed it down to a lean & mean 90 minute thriller, it would have been better. But it's worth watching. I had a good time.

This is #1 on Netflix US today. I wouldn't be surprised if they did do a follow up of sorts.

Had no idea this was a vampire flick when I started it, so I kinda got From Dusk Till Dawn vibes from it 
I liked it, even though it doesn't hold a candle to FDTD. But it was a pretty fun watch.

Cool movie. I didn't read the synopsis or watch the trailer. Nice surprises along the way. Good special effects too for the vampire design.

I also liked that this movie used different languages for the appropriate characters. The Germans spoke German, the British spoke English, etc....
In other movies, for example, they will have a scene in Russia and all the Russian characters will speak English. I hate that.

In some cases these days you'll have the characters speaking their native language and the film "transitions" to them speaking English (though that's just for the audience, -they're still actually speaking their native language). "The Hunt For Red October" did that back in The '90s and I still see that device from time to time. That wouldn't work with "Sky" since there are international characters working together.
I enjoyed this movie, though I agree it was a little too long and the final act felt a bit 'choppy' in how it was presented.

I am one of the few who hated “Chernobyl” for this issue. Watched 15 minutes and it was enough for me to drop the series. Not only did they use the English language, but British (and other non-Ukrainian) actors as well. Even if they wanted to use Russian actors to get close to authenticity, I would have been ok with that.
