Really? I have the Blu but haven't worked up the courage after hearing about the changes they made.

The changes weren't the problem. I haven't seen a "big budget" Hollywood production with such bad visuals in a long time. You could see the cheap backdrop in every scene.

It's a trash film with a horrible ending - there is now way the creators of the film wanted that ending - that was definitely the suits.

Shame, the book is so well written to the point where I would tell anyone new to King novels to start with pet sematary - I don't why, with how well the book blueprint is....they keep F'n this flick up.

EXCLUSIVE: Jackson White is in final negotiations to star as Jud Crandall in Paramount Players’ follow-up adaptation of the successful 2019 Pet Sematary, based on Stephen King’s best seller and self-proclaimed scariest book. The film begins shooting in August and will debut exclusively on Paramount+.

Lindsey Beer wrote and will direct the latest script based off a draft by Jeff Buhler. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian will produce.

They left out enough of the backstory to make a movie in and of itself. The most recent movie did include the Wendigo, but he was more of an Easter egg than anything else. The new ending was crap.

I expected this to be an announcement of a future project. Didn't expect to see a trailer in the first post.

Watched this, unfortunately, last weekend.

Truly abysmal and even David Duchovny didn't seem to understand or care about his character.
