A year later and no comments?
Anyway, caught this over the weekend and it's as subtle as a flying mallet, as the phrase goes. But enjoyable. I guess it's this generation's Breakfast Club or Pump up the Volume. I admit, I mostly watched 'cuz I knew The Linda Lindas were in it. If you're one of those who doesn't like "woke" stuff, stay far far away from this one. But overall it's a fun movie about fitting in, and fighting the way it's "always been" at a certain school. Even as a male, I wasn't part of the "in" group at my high school so I know what it's like to be an outsider. I embraced that nature, but nothing like what you see in this movie, so kudos for that. Worth a watch.

I watched it when it came out and enjoyed it a lot. Agreed, not subtle though.
I thought the lead actress did a great job.
