Most anticipated streaming shows - Remainder of 2019/Early 2020?

So what are your most anticipated streaming shows (new and returning) for the remainder of 2019. There is quite a few on the docket between Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, DC Universe etc.

I'll make this a multiple pick poll because narrowing it to just one doesn't seem fair. And I'll try to keep it as the most high profile.

#1 for me is Star Trek: Picard and after that would be the 2nd season of Jack Ryan whenever the hell Amazon decides to finally announce a release date. I am also really looking forward to what Jon Favreau does with The Mandalorian. A weekly Star Wars TV show should be fun. Hopefully Picard will drop in January.

Edit: I realized that I forgot to put Harley Quinn animated series from DC Universe. That comes out around November/December. You can mark other for that one.

Re: Most anticipated streaming shows - Remainder of 2019/Early 2020?

For me it’s Star Trek: Picard by a long shot. My favorite Star Trek series and I’ve always liked Patrick Stewart so it’s awesome to have something new featuring Picard and other TNG characters. I really never thought it would happen and that it would always be a fanboy fantasy. I just really hope it’s good and does justice to the character unlike a certain other sci-fi franchise.

Im also pretty excited for The Mandalorian. While Star Wars is on a bit of a rocky path lately I feel like this series will be good. Favreau feels like someone good to put in charge of a Star Wars property. I also like that it’s going to explore something that should be totally different in the Star Wars universe.

Are we getting an Ozark season 3 this year? If we are that would be #1. Other than that, The Witcher.

Watchmen isn't listed, it's premiering in the fall. That's my choice

It's airing on HBO. Not a streaming TV series.

2020. Supposedly they started filming 2 months ago. So there's no way it will be ready this year. They are shooting until October. Then you have to factor in a few months of post production. I think Spring 2020. Netflix also needs to market it too.

there's no point in separating cable and streaming into different categories, they have become one and the same. Every cable channel has a streaming option now. Case in point, HBO Now/Go

I picked several but if I had to pick one, it would be The Boys.

The Boys and Titans, though a series called Wu Assassins is intriguing on name alone.

I'll admit I don't know much about most of those.

The Witcher, Watchmen (if it counts), Bojack, I'll probably finish OitNB, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Derry Girls, The Boys, Titans S2 (although i won't sub for another year if my sub expires before that comes out.)

Picard is #1 for me right now. I don’t even know what The Witcher is, but seeing as it’s got the most votes, I’m definitely going to read up on it in the next few minutes. I think I vaguely recall there being a video game called that, but I’m not much of a gamer, really. And I could be off on that anyway.

Th Witcher is based on a video game and book series. Henry Cavill is the lead. Surprised you never heard of it. There is a thread here for it.

The name has subconsciously registered, but I’ve just not paid any conscious attention to it. I’m definitely about to rectify that.
