Direct TV -Local Neighboring Channels?
I guess that's another term for local alternate channels which the cable companies often carry.
Are they going all out and try to compete against cable for this feature because I have read a lot of complaints about Direct TV not carrying them.
I am pretty sure Dish Network has METV (not sure where).
I checked the guide for Detroit and they have 2 UHF channels looking like they soon will have the neighboring channels.
There is a website setup for Direct TV too see if it will be available soon in your area(if it's not already available).

Direct TV doesn't even carry my local FOX or ABC channels due to usual franchise fee negotiation bs.

Re: Direct TV -Local Neighboring Channels?
I am half way between Detroit and Toledo,OH and only get the Detroit locals(Direct TV).
Spectrum gives me both Detroit and Toledo,OH and Windsor,ONT (CBC) but only the Detroit channels are in HD.
However with Spectrum I can watch CBC in HD with their streaming service(which is awesome including plenty of On-demand).
I did drop Direct TV last year but came back a few months ago.

If this happened maybe they would carry Cozi TV and Antennae TV.

It's confusing because all I have read states that you need an antenna to get these sub-channels,however cable companies carry them which negates you needing an antenna.
