Favorite recent superhero portrayal

Since I did this in the movie forum, thought it would be interesting to do it here too. The main rule for this will be that it has to be a recent portrayal(so we aren't going to 50 year old portrayals) and they will be a main character who led a show, but there will be an option for other just in case. For me I'm torn between Bernthal's Punisher and Gustin's Flash but I would probably give the edge to Gustin.

Charlie Cox. Badass and cool.

But, Amell basically started it all, so I have to give him some props as well. The Green Arrow was basically a B/C character in the DC world and now he's a household name.

I've always thought Grant is a perfect Barry Allen. Outside of his hair color, he's more or less how Barry was portrayed for decades in the comics. I was very glad they didn't turn Barry Allen on television into a loose adaptation of Wally West, who has a much different personality.

Probably Cox or Bernthal, but an honorable mention to Gustin.

#1. Gustin
#2. Benoist

Honorable Mention: Tyler Hochlin as Superman

As for the rest, Daredevil was the only show where I was actively rooting for the hero to get his ass kicked. I couldn't stand Cox in the role.

The one guy who really elevated the show was Deathstroke, that’s my best performance on a recent superhero show
