Reef Break (ABC) -- S: Poppy Montgomery -- premieres 6/20/19
Her new series Reef Break is set to premiere on June 20, 2019. I liked her in Unforgettable even tho it was way unbelievable. I will be tuning in to this French-American crime drama, mainly because there's jack s*** else to watch on Thursday nights.

LOL - this is like half of CBS’ Blood & Treasure, but set in Australia. Could be good summer show. Might check out the first episode or two!

Trust me, no one, I mean no one at DVD Talk will be posting or talking about this.
I like Poppy Montgomery and have been a fan since Without a Trace and Unforgettable, but no one here is going to be watching this.

I liked it.
It wasn't as good as Whiskey Cavelier (or Take Two or The Mysteries Of Laura or Taxi Brooklyn)
but I'll watch the next one.

I didn’t really care for the plot too much, but the Australia scenics looked good on TV. I thought the set up for Poppy’s character felt clumsy and had some cheesy moments. The opening scene coming off the plane was extremely cheesy.

Since not much else is on I'll watch. The 1st episode was predictable but entertaining. If it gets a 2nd season I'll be surprised.

I liked this, pretty good summer watch, good scenery, and I thought the pacing was pretty good. I found it to be a half notch better than the usual summer filler.
I will try to tune in weekly. Took awhile to get used to the current version of Poppy, a pretty good throwback show.

Current version of Poppy is a “big” difference from the Unforgettable version.
Imliked the show just enough to keep watching but I’m not buying for a minute that she is some sort of famous surfer chick.
Btw I saw that a few posts back that it’s Australia but unless it’s common knowledge what The Reef is I didn’t see it mentioned at all during the ep where this show takes place. Could have been California or Hawaii from what I saw.
Did anyone have an Australian accent? Maybe her ex did but it was pretty week accent if that’s what it was supposed to be.

Fictional, but it is apparently supposed to be a US possession in the story. But sometimes they drive on the right, other times on the left, odd mix of RHD and LHD cars. Details don't matter; it's summer fare.
I thought it started OK for summer fare but the episodes have become more bizarre. I had to use Quick Mode on my Tivo toi get through a couple and haven't bothered to watch the finale.
